Sizzlin Sixties Class
“Strip Pieced Hexagon Blocks
Made Easy”
September 17th or 18th, 2010
Friday
OR Saturday
9:30-4:30
Heather
found herself caught up in all the things you can do with
a 60-degree triangle soon after she purchased a 60-degree
ruler. That 60-degree triangle can be made into your choice of
six different blocks, which can then be used in many
different layouts.
Choose
from a topper, tablerunner, or several different lap
quilts. Several time-saving techniques
have been incorporated into the construction
of these projects, from strip piecing, to nesting, to
avoiding the dreaded Y-seams.
These time saving techniques, along with many other
hints, make construction much easier than it seems.
Heather
will also teach her basic machine appliqué technique for
adding an optional flower to the tablerunner option.
The Bella
Bag Class
September 18th, 2010

Come
and learn about all the ideas that went into designing
this bag. There are lots of options to
choose from, including three bag sizes, several handle and
interior pocket options, and learn about installing
grommets.
